First, I am required to read the "Arguments" section of the University of North Carolina's Writing Center before I answer #1 of the Initial Proposal assignment below. Next, in order for me to understand how to develop my argumentative thesis, Springfield Township library resources refers us to thesis resources on the web at the Writing Center's of Dartmouth College, Indiana University and Harvard University . Finally, to better understand how to progress with setting goals for myself and/or planning (#6, 9, 10 and 11) my Research Paper and Project, I can refer to the University of Toronto's Organizing an Essay.

Initial Proposal
1. Identify the argument of my topic's thesis.
- The argument in my thesis is that The U.S isn;t providing the best health care they have for all children in the united States.

- I wanted to research this for my topic because when I get older I want to be a pediatric nurse and I want to make sure that all children are given the best care that is avalible out there.

3. Why do I want to do this Project?
- I believe that this as my topic will challenge me to work harder to get a good grade because I don't believe I can talk for 30 minutes on this but I am puching my self to do this to see if I am ready for college.

4. Who should be involved in negotiating the problem/issue?
- The president, Human and Health services and any other medical organizations that have to do with health care because things can't change untill they start it.

5. What action should be taken to resolve this problem/issue?
-A bill that gives money to some of the hospitals that aren't doing so good because whhen hospitals don't have enough money they aren't able to get the equietment or have the staff to make sure that the patients are given the best care that is out there.

6. Why does this topic have a significant impact on society?
- This topic has a big impact on society because everyone wants to make sure that they are given the best health care out there so why should it be any different for children because they are our future and if they are sick and weak because they didn't get propper treatment then how are they gonna contribute to the ever growing society.

7. To which larger class(-es) of issues or events does my topic belong? or How does the topic I explore have a domino effect into other issues/areas/subjects?
- This is just a small part of the Healthcare issue as a whole. with everyone not being able to get propper care because they can't afford health care and there job doesn't pay for it.

12. What do I anticipate this Project involving, in terms of work, time and resources? or How is this Project a personal stretch for me?
- This is a personal stretch for me because I am challenging myself to talk in front of people for 30 minutes without help and I don't like to speak infront of crowds so this will test me.

13 .What issues/challenges can I foresee?
-Some challenges I see in the future is me procrastinating and waiting till the last minute to complete things, also finding volunteer place that goes along with my topic might be difficult.

14. How can I consider negotiating the identified problems?
- I can probably get over the procrastinating if I set deadlines for myself and keep to them so that I will feel like I am behind when I am actually ahead and I will start to look for volunteer places now so that I can find a good one and get all my hours in.
